By contacting Village Computer Tutor, scheduling a session, submitting a form on our website, or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before engaging our services.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Village Computer Tutor provides personalized, one-on-one computer tutoring and technology assistance to individuals, with a focus on serving members of the retirement community in and around Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas. Our services include but are not limited to:

• Computer setup, orientation, and basic operation
• Internet browsing and email assistance
• Smartphone and tablet guidance
• Video calling and communication tools
• General troubleshooting and technology support

Sessions are scheduled by contacting Village Computer Tutor directly by phone. We will confirm your appointment and follow up with you personally prior to your session.

• Appointments are subject to availability
• We will make every reasonable effort to arrive on time
• In the event of an unavoidable delay, we will contact you promptly

We understand that schedules change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please contact us as early as possible so we can make the time available to others.

Exceptions may be made at our discretion for genuine emergencies.

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash and other payment methods as discussed at the time of booking.

Rates are provided upon inquiry and are subject to change with reasonable notice. Any changes to our rates will be communicated before your next scheduled session.

To make the most of your tutoring session, clients are responsible for:

• Providing access to the device(s) to be used during the session
• Ensuring the device is charged or plugged in prior to the session
• Providing accurate information about issues or goals before or at the start of the session
• Keeping login credentials (passwords) accessible for any accounts we may assist with

Village Computer Tutor provides services on a best-effort basis. While we take great care in all sessions, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results. We are not liable for:

• Loss of data, files, or software resulting from a session
• Hardware failures or pre-existing software issues
• Third-party software, apps, or service outages
• Indirect or consequential damages of any kind

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific session in question.

By providing your mobile phone number to Village Computer Tutor, you consent to receive SMS text messages related to your service requests and appointments.

• Message types: Appointment reminders, service follow-ups, and urgent communications
• Frequency: Messages are sent as needed — we do not send promotional or marketing texts
• Opt-out: Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages
• Help: Reply HELP for assistance

All content on the Village Computer Tutor website, including text, graphics, and design, is the property of Village Computer Tutor and may not be reproduced without written permission.

During sessions, we may introduce clients to third-party software, apps, or online tools. Those products remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.

Your privacy is important to us. The way we collect, use, and protect your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Garland County, Arkansas.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
